AN APP A DAY...

Apps are very important in technology. There are countless apps where users can learn foreign languages, edit photos and videos, check their bank accounts, and even check their phone security configuration.

In the previous article (click here to see it), I mentioned that there are plenty of inventions that at the moment only exist in science fiction films. Well, something similar happens with apps. Today, I am going to explain how my ideal app would be.

What is it about?
It is called "Ancestry Scan". This app combines facial recognition technology with genetic data to provide users information about their ancestral origins. This is great if you want to know about your origins without having to take a DNA test.

How does it work?
Firstly, you authorize the app to use your biometric data. After that, you use your phone's camera to scan your face. In that moment, the app will capture detailed facial features and biometric data. It will compare your facial structure, skin tone, and other biometric details with a large database of genetic information. The app's database contains information from various regions around the world. By comparing your facial features with this data, the app can identify similarities and patterns that match specific origins. After the analysis, the app provides a detailed report of your ancestral origins. This report includes information about the regions that your features most closely resemble. Then, the app will show you an interactive map that highlights the regions associated with your ancestry. Finally, you can explore these regions and learn more about their cultural and historical significance.
