DIGITAL HABITS ACROSS GENERATIONS
Digital habits have evolved a lot as each generation came alongside with different technologies. From the "pre-digital" generations up to today's youngest users, many people have used and continue to use digital devices.

Being always online is becoming a normal thing. For teens and some adults, digital and physical worlds are inseparable, which can give them opportunities (learning, social connection) but also concerns (mental health, screen-time).
"It interrupts our own story, interrupts our ability to have a thought of a daydream, to imagine something wonderful because we're too busy bridging the walk from the cafeteria back to the office on the cell phone" said Steven Spielberg.
People that are now between 60 and 70 first encountered technology through radio and television. Then, they adopted computers for email, web browsing, and online banking. As smartphones appeared, they started to use social media platforms like Facebook to stay connected with family and friends.
All generations are spending more time online, which makes many parents worry about how much time their children use screens. It can be very useful for them to learn or study, but they should find a balance. It's great to diconnect from the digital world, and relax a bit with a hobby like playing an instrument, doing sports, painting, reading...
